March 2008 — San Mateo City Hall: SOLO SHOW

Alexis was awarded a solo show at the San Mateo City Hall Civic Gallery by the San Mateo City Arts Commission this year. She is honored by the invitation and will be showing much of her series entitled "The Beginning of Alchemy" for the first time on the West Coast.

February 2008 — Women's Caucus for Art: Eco-Postcard International Auction

This is an auction of postcards made out of recycled materials by artists all around the globe. The work is shown in association with the Women's Caucus for Art at their annual conference in Fort Worth Texas and proceeds will benefit the UN.

January 2008 — ARTworkSF and UCSF: Serenity

'Serenity' at the University of San Francisco's Center for Reproductive Health features small bodies of work that present imagery evoking peace, well-being and relaxation. Alexis will be showing work from her "Remedy" series. The UCSF Center for Reproductive Health is a National Center of Excellence in Women's Health. Alexis' work is located on the 7th Floor.

Alexis recently donated three small prints to the Creative Center's Annual Small Works Show and Benefit Sale in New York. The event took place on December 2nd, 2005 in Chelsea to raise money for the Center's programming. The Creative Center provides art workshops free-of-charge to people living with cancer. Alexis' work will be on view at “699”, a group exhibition at Metamorphosis' Etc. Gallery in Sarasota, Florida. This is a great space and exhibit featuring work priced exclusively at $699 or less! Chandler Fine Art in downtown San Francisco will be exhibiting Alexis' paintings from June 24th to July 30th, 2005. This will be a solo show of work selected by the staff. Alexis was selected to show at the ROCK+PAPER+SCISSORS art exhibit based on the theme of the RoShamBo game and presented by the Sausalito Arts Commission. Jurors for the show are Bay Area painter and educator Chester Arnold and Steve Lopez, director of the Charles Campbell Gallery in San Francisco. Alexis will be showing as part of the "PAPER" collection of the show.

Alexis was recently chosen to exhibit at the Arad Biennale 2005 in Romania. This was an international exhibition featuring selected artists from all over the world. 2004

Alexis received an Honorable Mention for “Last Chance Soul” at the Topanga Canyon Gallery’s “2005 Juried Open” in Los Angeles which ran from January 11 – February 5, 2005. Juror for this show was Patricia Howard, curator of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art Sales & Rental gallery.

Alexis will be showing at the “Crushed Crushes” group exhibition at ARC Gallery in Chicago from February 4–26. Opening reception Friday February 4th, 2005 from 6–9 pm.

Alexis was recently selected as a featured artist for Living Artists, 14th Edition. Look for it in bookstores in Spring 2005.
